All PDE Group properties are thoroughly inspected on a monthly basis along with franchise inspections. This process reviews all aspects of a property, from the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas to the condition of the property and furnishings. PDE Group managed properties follow strict guidelines that dictate deep cleaning procedures, key control, cross training and property cleanliness. As part of the inspection process, properties are graded on quality assurance areas such as guest correspondence, uniform compliance and administrative office efficiency. Follow-up reports to each inspection detail how properties comply, assess the need for change and update improvements. Subsequent inspections are performed to ensure correction of any deficiencies. In addition to assessing the status of the physical property, the inspection process includes a complete investigation of the hotel s cash handling and reporting methods, accuracy of daily reports, analysis of payables and receivables, employment records, and front office and administrative procedures.

Mr. Exeter is the principal with asset management responsibility for PDE Group's owned hotels. He has direct responsibility in maximizing value at both the property and portfolio levels by providing in-depth operational strategy and asset management leadership.
Prior to founding PDE Group in 1997, he was an Executive Vice-President for PROMUS Hotels, which later became a part of Hilton Hotels International.
He currently serves on the Executive Boards of Greater Iowa Chamber of Commerce and is a Board Member of the HSMAI Cedar Rapids Chapter.
